mel and mon has been telling me that Beyong the Realm of Conscience is a great HK drama, and the full HK cast was awesome! I have to say I'm not a fan of Charmaine Sheh due to her character IRL, but you can't help but to adore her acting and role in the show. Tavia Yeung is gorgeous too, took up the scheming role well. I love it when Michelle Yim and Susanna Kwan quarrels in the roles, it's so funny at times :)

Though it's a historical fiction film, I can relate it to how people fight for their rights in certain positions, and asks for more than they should, resorting to ways that one can unlikely imagine.

Overall, a very good drama! 33 episodes, now airing till epi 14 in Cantonese and Mandarin.

went out with meljane and eric last mth before my exam period!

got to know mel through my good buddy eric and she's a very nice, girly and pretty girl.
i'm nothing close to girly so she's like a guide to me :)

and we took a picture before leaving the coffehouse @ ION ( i cant remember the name but it's at the basement, a level above starbucks)
till today i can still get lost in ION :( so confusing!

tried the cookie frappe and it's pretty good!

and one of the staff took a picture for us, taking from a bad angle haha!

and my top in the picture reminds me of a phone tt will go well with it,

im not a curve lover but this is SO loveeee. the color in royal purple by Sprint.
Wont be coming to SG though :(
I'm so dependent on my phone, it's nothing this pretty as the curve above but i adore it because everyone can get to me through it!

I'm getting to my book soon and for this holiday period, besides resting, i will like to spend more time during weekends with my family :)
we went shopping just now and bought kettle chips, macadamia nuts and Milano biscuits for JS and my bro and gf to share! Good things for everyone! Love my fam! :)

I can't wait to do some book shopping when JS is back being my boyfriend ( he took leave to study for exams till later!)

i feel so tired that i think i need another 24 hours to recharge..... serious!

went out with jing just now with totally no regrets! how can you be when you go out with someone so bubbly? (:

while i was getting worried and so paranoid of getting results in a month, food and good company is comforting :)

awesome. i realise our apparels are all from blogshops, indirectly indicating that we, full time students, have no time to do retail shopping :(

i love the pink chiffon dress on her! sold mine cos i look so plain jane with pink chiffon :(
she totally rocked in hers that i told her to keep it!

saw bryan and twice he wanted to surprise me with his appearance haha.
it's so funny that we met in the day and now in the night lor, some perfect boyfriend bringing his girlfriend to dinner, so sweeeeeeet.
I only have girlfriends, my boyfriend is on leave! haha!

im well again! what happened during the period of no updates was i fell really ill and terrible.
i didnt do well for my first paper which i studied rather hard for too.. sigh, i didnt do a 10 mark question- when the paper is only a 40 marks one. Had a hard time recalling what was what and writing really slow.
That's what a awful cold and fever can do.

Today's a rainy day and i hate rainy days when it comes to exams! You feel so compelled to lie on the bed but most unfortunately you have a whole stack of revision notes waiting to eat you up alive.
Examinations makes me depressed, too.

Guess what! After my last paper on the 7th, I'll be a free bird for the time being!

I'll be updating my blog super frequently with parties!

November spells lots of birthdays and I am a happy girl because birthday parties mean catching up, eating and having lots of fun!
I have a full list of events in my facebook and I even have a hard time recalling!! arghhh!!

i actually think that Ris Low has gone through a lot of unwanted criticisms and she's always been game on to interviews even when the interviews are kind of "attacking" her with her past, ie. her vocab of "boomz" and "preents".

Kochan is a researcher's name in my managing change text and he grew to like the name.

b and i quarrelled while having mac brekkie, was a minor thing but we always managed to get back after the quarrel.
Can you imagine we quarrelled over big breakfast's eggs? Haha.

Anyway, for a more serious issue here,
my 7 friends went to kayak at kallang today and realised that their belongings went missing.
This is so hateful, these passionate sporty 7 chaps were practicing for their upcoming race amid their upcoming exam schedule and some thief/thieves just broke in to steal all their 7 bags

the case is taken up to the police and i hope that whoever it is, either surrender the stuff or return these poor people with their belongings.
Of the stuff includes new iphones and htc phone, a precious watch momento that's precious to my dear friend and their wallets, ICs and whatnots.
They couldnt bring their stuff down due to sea training.

This is so cruel and really, such ugly things could happen here.
justice will prevail.

green tea frap and mocha frap!

i always order fraps, it's my thing.
my favorite in line of order in mocha, green tea and raspberry frap but most unfortunately, i get gastric drinking coffee so most of the times i abstain from it, unless i have a craving or wanna stay awake.
for green tea frap, i'll always order tall size because it gets a little gelat when its left for awhile (when it isnt in its ice blended form) or when i have a bit too much of it.
Raspberry is nice, but then again, the most gelat of all if taken too much. My long story here haha. Basically I had the tall green tea frap and Mon had the grande mocha frap lor.

a short update with pictures credits to brenda! :)

we've come together for wenqi's 22nd.
sitting on this side of the table is me, wenqi and tang, who are always snatching for the cushion seats,

and the angels who always give up their cushion seats are bren because they really are okay with anything anywhere, as long as they find chairs.

so we started off choosing the food we want, this time not for very long and began catching up.

The food is surprisingly very good for a coffee house like dome! :)

the birthday girl always gets to choose the place she wants to dine in!

i had a dish with cheese on top of a beef patty ( medium well), spag and baked potato for sides, tang had the same but different sides
bren had the pork chop , which was so good,
and ling had the chicken with deli sauce!

dont mind my lousy use of adjectives, im really tired by the end of the day!

paired with an owl that i chanced upon when i was in the stores a mth ago.

there was this sign telling us that while sitting, we cannot exceed 100kg,
but we were not underweight, but we just went ahead :P

settling at t2:

it takes me 20 mins to the airport and i love meeting @ the airport! it's very condusive and relaxing :)

the person who loves ice cream so much he kept pressurizing me to go for one

local delights that swensens thought of including in its menu, i still prefer the hot favorites:

I wanted mango fantasy but peach with banana with mango?
I don't know if it's a good idea afterall.

and in this swensens', the service deserves 3.5/5 stars :)

Sushi Tei with Jamie, the day we agreed to meet after so long cos of my projects :(
We ate dons, and jams had her favorite chawanmushi and her dessert

she'll never leave me without dessert and we love the ice cream there :)

she brought back numero and the daisy by marc pouches for me from japan cos i very badly wanted the latter..

this poor boy had to wait for raffles city's outlet ( which is the one we went) to complete its renovation and voila, when it did, we went there immediately :)

and off to MPH to get my dan brown book, which comes with a mug!!!

for the last 4 books, i am amazed by his writing style
( i dont really believe in the things he write because it's all fiction, and the things he write about religion are not very , in a way, respectful but the tales he spin... which is why i often sell after reading, it's worth one good read but that's all i think of it) (:

Some bitch today make me flare up.
Firstly she wanted to take my paper to print her stuff, which if I have excess, I would have given her.
Secondly she printed her notes wrongly on my printer, and didnt want to return me the paper. What a total bitch, I told her to return me cos my exams are coming and needed the paper to print the notes and she said it isn't her fault and I'm terrible. I threw her the paper and walked away. Maybe it's her way to take over my printer ( there're 2 printers and she's already occupying the 2nd btw).

If you print on the wrong printer wrongly, the coutesy is to return the other the paper rightfully deserved to the owner because she may have a need for the paper.
If you want the printer and need paper, open your big mouth to say. There's no point giving me lame reasons why I asked you to. I didn't even see the need to open my mouth and ask if you know what to do.

What a bitch. Total bitch.

I will always try not to make it a point that I blog what others want to see, or give people the impression that everything is fine in my life.
I won't say my life is screwed ( but of course when it is, i screw it up myself 99% of the time) but seriously, I want this blog very personal, which means i can't care what people would have to think about me ( of cos i still do, alittle) but I would love to have people commenting with genuine concern and reading with interest that I'm afterall, still human.

let me talk about my love.

JS has been my best friend, my shoulder to lean when im lazy, cry when im sad, and someone whom ive badly thrown tantrums on, better termed as my boyfriend.
I am not a very good girlfriend and he's very "poor thing" to have me as his very first girlfriend.
He has a very hot bod because my canoeing friends kept telling me how lucky I am to have boyfriend with "perfect chest" and that makes it up since I love big boobs but I am straight, so yeah:\ hope you get my point. He also keeps lamenting that he has the perfect tanned, which I think it's almost a burnt kinda color, my previous maid once asked me if my boyfriend is a malay.

He's gentle, considerate and he loves me alot, sometimes we may be too busy with our own commitments to even care about how the relationship should be going ( maintanence) so this is the problem lah! basically I think we need lots of romance here, because a relationship should be this way.

when we are busy we tend to overlook alot of things especially about how people around us are feeling.

in summary, we fought yesterday and it was a big hoo-ha but we picked up the pieces today and promised to give the relationship our best and yeap, try to do things together so that we can make it work out!
Okay I really want this to work this time, and no, we won't break up.

so Stephanie Tan should stop saying that she wants a break and tralala, because that isn't what she wants.
She wants and deserves a happy ever after ( at least she believes so)!! Little voices saying " you'll be fine even without a relationship" and "maybe it's too late" should seriously go away.
I LOVE YOU JS! MUAHH *lots of saliva on his face*
it's eating me when i say this but I should get used to this.

JS said I have a huge post purchase dissonance and I agree so, especially with my phone.
If you went out with me you should have heard me say " maybe I should change to an Iphone" but actually it was just a thought, I never thought I should change this away because it didn't serve me that badly really.
Just that I gian to have everything.

I told you I didn't like curve or the new curve's keypad but when I saw the new Bold, I was like WAHH.
the new bold looks sexy, looks smaller ( like curve) and has a flat trackpad instead of trackball, and of cos, it's easier to use that way.
BUT, blackvberry is known for its trackball and its qwerty keypad and actually, the squarish top of the new bold irritates me.

Ok, besides post purchase dissonance, I have a superb way to comfort myself things that I fail to get

i've been so lazy to update my journal, i was thinking of giving up on blogging but after some serious thought, i do not want to.

Bea's 21st birthday party!

This so happened when selene told us that we have to RSVP to this secret party, secret is to be kept at all costs and the plans she roughly has in place at the time we were working for an event so wenqi and i kept ourselves free, so did jiayi (jy) :)

preparatory work before bea comes in, the organising team and bea's family worked hard to make sure every bit is being looked after.

being the earlier ones who reach the party, we decided to camwhore b4 jy joined us

and 15-20mins into the wait....
there comes the subject of the party!

she had to take a picture with the balloon filled with our voices ( we recorded our HAPPY BIRTHDAY voices as a group and she could hear it as long as she hits the balloon!)

one of the most awesome guestbooks with polaroids! we got to write messages ( which i had a brainblock there) haha

we had some time for food before we started on a "how much do you know bea?" game.
i got called up for a " what are bea's pet names?"
and the only pet name i gave her was beeeeee beaaaaaaa
but the rest gave her beat-rice, which i momentarily forgot, brainblock again for waking up too early these days

& afterwhich, a video showing her from the time she was a newborn to what she is today, at her 21st :)

it's really a sweet video put up by lene, trish, shawn and vincent, they stayed up to do it, along with the decor of the place!
bea confessed they were so sweet they bought her a birthday dress and arranged to place the box on her bed when she woke up :) SWEEEEET to the max!

then comes the princessy cake that every girl longs for- a tiered cake!

bea and family. i must comment she has a very sweet family and parents who are very proactive, going around talking to us,

while we all are at the cake, i managed to take some pictures while catching up with these lovely people :)

i actually made bea believe she's also holding 12 when she's holding 21 :P she's really celebrating 21, so no 12 for her! :P

we handed bea her presents :P

got bea a blusher she really wanted because "my MAC blush has a big hole in it!" was what we really heard in the end haha!
and for the love of gold accessories, jy knew the best to get her a bangle that is very her!
you can see that she really appreciates the presents she receive , which makes us really happy :)

then we began to play with stuff that we can find around the room while also trying to help the rest pack up :)

i really had fun but what 's really important is bea has more fun than all of us combined together, because it's bea's day!

delias inspired dress in their debut collection
as for the casual dress i wore for bea's party, i managed to find one manufactured off beauaffaires
it's awesome! the material is flowy and it makes a very comfortable wear :)
it is also versatile since it's a 2 way dress, halter or tie knot as a tube,
at the bust area, it's also scrunched and creates a slight cleavage which can be rarely seen on me (lol),
it has a detail- back hole which shows a little of the skin at the back, and a zip behind to ensure that not too much flesh is shown :)
overall, a keeper for the dress! good for casual parties and beach!

and i got another dress off the site too!

valentino inspired toga dress in size S

a so very innovative dress that's not hard to wear, in cream pink and off white,
i tried to do it in 3 ways, but i guess there're more if i were given more time :P
it's a smooth material, not the thin type, but because of the nature of the color, it would have been better paired with light colored undergarments :)
for the versatility, this dress is a good buy :)

i wish to blog more about my recent activities but it's really time for me to take a break!
the good news is, i got my DAN BROWN BOOK omigish so excited to read,
the bad news is, i should really start finding my notes and revising for the exams soon, maybe in a few days time :P

happy advanced twentyfirst birthday bea/beat-rice! :)

hope you enjoy this surprise that we tried veryyyy hard to keep and the girls ( trish, sel & co) planned!
i didnt know what to write both in the card and in guestbook ( usually lost of words when i pen down)
but it's been a joy to grow up together and your giggles sure melt our hearts every single time you do your teehee!

anyway, hope you enjoy your birthday celebration and we'll have a meal together soon ok?
