Dear-Lulu has been the store I've always been going to when it comes to floral dresses!

The dress that I wore for Siying's 21st came was from there, and i love how they price their dresses reasonably- That previous dress only cost $23!
This time they found me to do an advertorial on my blog perhaps and I agreed almost immediately- it was a good chance to preview the clothes before release!

for this collection, it is more floral stuff, I remember many of my friends being crazy about floral prints because it's so wearable and so feminine!

This collection was meant to be an exclusively imported collection, with some pieces specially sourced by the owner :)
A variety of dresses and playsuits to choose from and it's hard not to be spoiled for choices- really.

Of the many pieces, I particularly selected 2 that I like  ( and am having thoughts of making purchases)

The Silky Drape Dress in teal
This makes an awesome Friday's Night out dress, with unique drape & m-shaped bust details (I'm a huge fan of m-bust details!)
The black portion is an accentuated waist detail that makes one look slimmer, and not focusing on my ever-growing tummy if I'm getting it.
The color also stands out since it's not the boring monotones that're sitting in my wardrobe. It also suits fair-skinned girls as the teal brings out the contrast!
This comes in elegant grey too!

and my favorite and must have-

Whimsical Flower Garden Dress in Pink
This chiffon dress is double-lined and has pretty ruffles details. Am crossing my fingers that dear-lulu's owner will send me a piece of this haha! This is so pretty & sweet as a day dress or a day's picnic with friends & loved ones. The layered ends of the dress makes up the dreamy feel and like I say, it's a must have! :)

prints upclose- spells romantic!
It comes in another color for fans who love the purple and grey combination :)

There're many more others that I couldn't have written about with my limited vocab because I'm so brain-dead after doing up my project, but trust me, this collection will not fail any girls who are looking for reasonbly priced, yet feminine pieces!

In addition, from my previous experience, dear-lulu provided me with very prompt replies and good CS experience,
the package was nicely- they use ziplock bags to make sure that items are properly sealed :)

quite a few girls emailed me regarding girly, feminine clothes and the blogshops i've been looking at,
besides bonitochico, huisyuans & pearlavish (all livejournals) which are producing sweet apparels, the other im watching is

[info]lillacypearl

one of the first things that caught my eye is the model - has her hair tied in a chignon and she looks sweet in every of the dresses she modeled! Don't get me wrong, April is very pretty herself!

---

April, the owner of [info]lillacypearl , is the sole owner of the blogshop, loves the intricate details on every dress she sourced and brought for the shop. Her passion is in bringing herself and ladies out there pretty dresses that can be worn for casual and dinner dates with friends and loved ones. Simply said, the dresses are handpicked by her, modeled by her pretty friends. In turn, this became not only work for her, it became a gathering for her and her friends when they do photoshoots together.

Her items are picked in the way that are very lady-like, think Lace, Chiffon, Satin, Bustier & Floral details. As many blogshops do apparels for work, lillacypearl concentrates on anything feminine- you name it, they have it, so much so they also bring sweet accessories!

The 2 pieces that I would recommend are:

FOR DINNER/PLAY

hilton bodycon dress

I love bodycon dresses cos they accentuate your curves. Black does for all occassions- whether it's party or dinner- and since it's herve ledger inspired, it meant that you can get it at a fraction of the actual price!

and my other;

FOR WORK/DATES

Coco Ruffled Dress

This dress has ruffled details at the bust area, which also has a v-neck neckline, that brings a side of classy to a lady.
The mandarin collar makes it a very wearable dress to work! It also isn't too formal for dinner dates after work.
The skirt has a cutting that wouldnt focus on your hips- which is a common problem for a lady. April suggested pairing on a waist belt and a pearl necklace, as seen on model :)
