wanted to post pictures but im having a bad headache looking at the screen with my tired eyes so i guess i'll tuck in soon after reading cleo. Cleo this week features a little bit on sex education, which I will like to talk abit more about now.

I guess some countries/schools are uncomfortable with sharing contraception methods, aftermath of abortion and some kind of sex education with their students/kids,
however, i feel that these should be taught to girls when they are at their teens. This is to allow them to have the knowledge to protect themselves when they choose to have contact with sex. I remember there was this abortion video aired to the class of girls while the guys attended some other "lecture".
To date, i dont know whether this is useful.

However, the schools/countries' unwillingness comes with the problem of exposing the teens with sexual content and knowledge, which in turn did not help as these are the countries with the highest rate of abortion cases/young mothers.

For what I know, kids nowadays are very smart, they probably know about sexual content before they reach their teens, and the responsibility falls on parents/ schools/countries to have what they call "sex-ed" lessons or "puberty" classes to teach them on prevention methods.

The media ( mags, newspapers and tv dramas) have also taken initiatives to teach teens/young adults on contraceptive methods or bring across the message on commitments of being a young mother/ having an abortion.

What is your take on this?
