Yesterday's event was really fun but tiring. Hosts that I had to manage were Daniel Ong and Ling and they are real funny put together and given that Dan had more experience, he kept "bullying" Ling into whatever she has to do, jokingly of course. It was a good event where everyone had fun, some sumo wrestling challenge with the ultimate huge sumo suits that the public can don on, and lots of people supported and bought Lyo and Merly, the mascots for the inaugural 2010 youth olympics event, back.


LYO stands for Lion of Youth Olympics
and Merly is a Merlion with liveliness and youthfulness in the name :)
both of them represent land and water sports respectively.

i really dont know if I can be there for the 100 days countdown event but I know that both SYOGOC and the event company will host the show well to make it succeed :)

P.S. My colleagues kept saying that I look like Merly because of my hairdo. LOL.

The programme went smoothly and it was very satisfying to see the whole show wrapping up well!
Daniel was a very good emcee, "rara"-ing the crowd but staying focused on the programme. Great to work with such professional emcee.
The crew was well prepared and familiar with their routines, and our entire manpower team had to cover the whole of padang and city hall supreme court for Olympic Day Run & YOG one year countdown, so it's a huge scale event, heavily covered by our local media.

Performers done well during their segments although floor was wet due to rain stopping 3 hours before the show offically started,
they really gave in their best, so proud of the various teams!
Rather sad that my cheerleader contact person/coach, Lenny , (prev magnum force, now all stars legacy) going to Italy to further his studies and coming back only 4 years later. They did rehearsals till 11pm yesterday and were really committed. My second show with them and I really see them as a team that will go far with good leadership!

I need to sleep now, went to slack/gossip/talk @ starbucks & mac (supper) with weisheng & vincent till 3+, had a great great time chatting with them!
i actually enjoy a good cab ride after show ^_^ ( well deserved treat for the aching body)
