if you have any complaints, please route it to my comment page haha!
1) best traditional mooncake: 香港美心 (hongkong's Maxim)
can be found in tampines mall, cant be very sure about ion because mom bought these this year and i fell in love with it!
bought another for js' family! it's $43 per box and it's so soft and good! it has to be the better than all the local hotels! uploading pics when i can!
2) best fruit 冰皮 mooncake: Goodwood Park Hotel
for its mango with pomelo and durian.
I usually buy 2 pomelos and 2 durians. They're awsome. The rest of the flavors, I'll give them a miss.
3) best yam mooncake: Park Hotel
try this because it's so good. you cant find park hotel as its under reno but im sure some malls carry them since their F&B's operations' still running.
the crispy skin is to die for, and the yam tastes like or ni , for those who are yam paste lovers.
4) Ice cream mooncake: Swensons'
for kids. Any better you have to go buy mochi from beardpapa or jap restaurants
5) champagne with truffle mooncake: Raffles Hotel
'nuff said about this hotel's snow skin mooncake.
worth the calories everyone's raving about.

I'm hoping to buy Raffles Hotel's mooncakes soon, but I'm lemming for Goodwood's Durian's ;(
For the traditional ones, you have to buy HK Maxim's!!! Really. My mom said that if granny was alive, she would have liked it, i thought so too!
I am not a biggie fan for traditional's, but this is so soft, it melts into the mouth ( the skin included) and it's so yummmyyyyyyyy. OMGISH maybe i should buy another of this instead! No wonder it's been a famous label in HK for the past 11 years!
I dont mind trying the snow skin ones too, reviews here:

Dad brought us out for dinner today and i suggested eating zhi char/ yu tou lu!
if you know me, i love zhi chars, i can have zhi chars everyday if it's not unhealthy.
the famous 天外天! branch @ bedok north.
the three of us ordered 4 dishes, including a prawn roll and it's really good. The scallops are fresh, I can't very much rave about the pa gu wang bcos it's quite normal, but the yu tou lu is superrrrrrrr good! The flesh of the garoupa's fish is very fresh and urgh, speaking of which, the yam's also very nice!
I wanted cereal prawns but we all doubt we could finish so next weekend then! I want my dessert session which my brother spoiled it for me because he had no keys to the house :(
Going to sleep! Revision class tomorrow ( last lesson of the yearrrr!!!)
I should start studying since I havent been to too many classes this year, I should I should!
